This exactly why my partner and I have decided to get rid of cable television. I can&#039;t take all the bogus commercials and advertising tactics any more! I told my partner:

&quot;I&#039;m done with TV, I can&#039;t do it any more. When we were in Hawai‘i we didn&#039;t miss it - why would we miss it now? It&#039;s like we&#039;re watching TV but blocking 80% of it out - what&#039;s that about? We spent two hours blocking stuff out? I thought it was time to relax? It&#039;s crazy.&quot;
