New Media Expo: Making a Daily Video Show

by Roxanne Darling on August 14, 2008

Please follow along with us as Shane and I present our session here in Las Vegas. We were chosen as one of 50 out of over 900 applications, and we are thrilled! Alas, we realize not everyone can come to the expo.

You can see our slides full size here.

We will be doing a dual track presentation! Two presenters, one handling right brain one handling left brain, one showing a live production demo while one talks strategy. Here’s the video we hot that morning, edited in the session, and then uploaded. Delays due to poor availability of wifi – a chronic problem when traveling and at tech conferences especially!

Many thanks to our colleagues in this video:

Nikol Hasler Midwest Teen Sex Show
Jason Van Orden Internet Business Mastery
Tom Webster Edison Media Research
Rob Sandie Viddler

Rox, great meeting you and Shane at the Expo. Now I know who’s behind the camera. And Shane is too cute to not be seen ;)

@Leesa – I will pass that on, and raise you one. You’re great on camera too!

Easily the most well prepared and engaging session at New Media Expo. Thank you so much for putting so much work into literally showing all of us how to strive for quality the way you’ve done with Beach Walks.

W00T Colin! Thanks so much for your endorsement. We loved doing the presentation, and of course having the full backing and support of Viddler was just awesome for us. Both Shane and I are wearing our t-shirts all the way from Santa Fe to Honolulu today. :-)
