We were able to keep each other and the rest of the world informed in an unprecedented way, and that allowed everyone to stay calm and focused. [...]

Dear Tim - Thank you for your message. It may be hard to describe but the emotional intimacy that was taking place during the day on Saturday was extraordinary. I do believe it is something most people have to experience to really "get" - at least if they are skeptics. You do and we appreciate you for hanging in there with us and sending good vibes!

I was following your tweets through the event and considered what you said was happening over what I was hearing on CNN or MSNBC. I of course would never tune in to listen to Fox Noise for what is going on in the world. You did a great job today with citizen journalism and I really believe that what you did today is the future of America.

Great post, Roxanne! Today was a great example of how old and new media can blend and work together seamlessly. It felt like we were all part of a huge global team.
