Online video continues to be one of the most powerful, fastest growing, and least understood forms of communication. Roxanne will present the three forms online video can take, and give live demos of each. She will also discuss how individuals, startups, and mature brands can use online video effectively, both internally and externally. She will then share some of her favorite resources and video hosting sites with insider notes on the pros and cons of each.
Roxanne has over 20 years experience as a well-loved and an expert presenter and trainer throughout North America, Asia, and Europe. A popular speaker in the tech and business communities, including BlogHer Business, New Media Expo, IABC, and PRSA, Roxanne was recently named #24 of the 50 Most Influential Women in Social Media. She has a “gift for both grounding and lifting you at the same time.” Co-owner of Bare Feet Studios (www.barefeetstudios.com), she has been working on the web since 1995 (and playing since 1993); she is one of the original video podcasters and the star of the award-winning internet TV show, Beach Walks with Rox, which has produced over 700 episodes. She is also a founding member of the Social Media Club and Hawaii’s original social media expert.
