We won! Bare Feet Studios was awarded “Best Social Media Campaign” at the #PEMawards. It was such an honor to be able to share the case study from our client, the Lānaʻi Visitors Bureau, and gain recognition for the New Media Artist-in-Residence program. UPDATE: Mahalo to my client Keliʻi Brown for sharing this awesome PR about OUR award via the Hawaii Visitors & Convention Bureau!
We are so thrilled to be one of the three finalists for the 2012 Annual Pacific Edge Magazine business awards: best social media campaign. As founder of the Hawaii chapter of the Social Media Club (SMCHI), I am giddy happy that four of our members are finalists in the overall awards.
Also in the final three for best social media campaign is fellow SMCHI board member Laura Kinoshita. In the Young Professional of the Year, is Gwen Woltz. And in the New Business category, is John Garcia. Our SMCHI president, Tara Coomans organized a table for us tonight at the gala, so please stop by for a special social media hug from us if you are attending! If not, please follow the conversation online at #PEMAwards.
We submitted the New Media Artist-in-Residence Program that I developed in conjunction with my client at the Maui Visitors Bureau, Keliʻi Brown. It has gotten a tremendous response from the travel blogging community and been written up in numerous places. (Links are all on the above article.) As only the universe’s divine intelligence can arrange, Keliʻi was my seat mate on the Hawaiian Airlines flight this morning from Maui to Oahu. What a magical delight! And to top it off, there were rainbows in the sky – a Hawaii specialty!
