Join Social Media Club on Maui for Google Analytics Program

Since I moved to Maui a year ago, I have been fortunate to be on Oahu for several of the Social Media Club Hawaii (SMCHI) chapter events. The downside is that I haven’t gotten the SMCHI ball rolling very well here on Maui. With the assistance of the Maui Economic Development Board, that is changing!

Since it began offering public meetings almost 4 years ago on Oahu, SMCHI has shared their events via live video stream. This was specifically to help connect our colleagues on the neighbor islands, and, we often have numerous viewers from “all over.” There is a lively chat that accompanies the live stream, as the monitor shares links and tips as they happen in the presentation.

August 20, 5:30-7:30 pm: Understanding Google Analytics.

There will be three expert presenters showing how to use this powerful tool on our blogs, including getting social stats. Together we will watch the live video on the big screen, and have our own Maui-centric networking and discussion. You can learn more about the Google Analytics event here at the SMCHI website. Tweeters: Please include these hashtags: #SMCHI #MauiSMUG.

Plans are underway to have a food truck on-site, so plan to come hungry and grab a bite between 5:30 and 6 pm. We’ll be seated when the program officially starts at 6 pm.
