Carol has been making art for over 40 years and recently moved to Santa Fe from New York. In the process of moving her life and art practice, alongside some health challenges, she lost access to her former website. Although I was able to find it for her and re-gain access to the previous hosting platform, the site was out of date, the images were small, and the site was not mobile-friendly. It also only presented a small selection of her work and used a web address that included "NYC" — which is no long relevant.
So we set out to include a fuller representation of her art with larger images and more accurate descriptions. Since she did not have current photos for some of the earlier work, I was able to use my technology tools to enhance and enlarge those photos to better present the artworks. Naturally, we updated her artist resumé, too, and included a video that was created of her by the Parrish Art Museum in NY. We also purchased a new website address, CarolHayesArt.com, which serves her search results. I also was able to renew her previous domain and forward it to the new site, so she could benefit from any archived links to that site.
