David had an excellent, professional website with one serious issue: the code it had been created with was very out-dated and pages took minutes to load. This rendered the site unusable. Given its old age, it also did not take advantage of the large screens we all use now nor did have a search function. So it was difficult for David as well as his visitors to look for specific works of art on the website.

The second complication we faced was that his main website address had expired. After an email change, the renewal notices were not delivered. The domain registrar confiscated the domain and was demanding several hundred dollars to restore it, even though David had held the domain for nearly 20 years! After many calls, emails, and online chats, I was able to get the domain released back into David's account. We were fortunate to work with his previous web developer which made the task of gathering the old website content much easier.
